Bijay Rai is a committed and diligent individual whose substantial contributions to the community have marked him as a pivotal community activist. He currently holds the position of Secretary for the term 2023-2025 at the Kirat Rai Society of America (KRSA), a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the ethnic heritage of the Kirat Rai people. Through his role at KRSA, Mr. Rai actively works to support and uplift his community, ensuring the cultural traditions and values are maintained and celebrated. In his ongoing efforts to foster public safety and enhance community relations, Mr. Rai has also taken on the role of an NYPD Auxiliary Police Officer as of 2023.

In this capacity, he aims to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community, striving to build trust, ensure public safety, and strengthen the collaborative relationship between the New York Police Department and local residents. Bijay Rai’s journey to the United States began in 2014 when he immigrated from Nepal. His academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, equipping him with the knowledge and skills to manage and lead effectively in various organizational settings. His educational and professional experiences collectively empower him to make meaningful and lasting contributions to the community he so passionately serves.
